Chris’ journey with music began at age 9 when he first sat behind a drum kit, and by 13 he was playing with various musicians and bands. He honed his skills under top drum educators and, at 18, secured a spot in London’s DrumTech degree programme. 

By 19, he joined his first full-time band. Over the next 13 years, Chris’ career flourished as he performed globally, including at renowned UK venues, European festivals and on BBC national radio. He played original material under Universal Publishing, toured with a 60’s theatre show and portrayed ‘Ringo Starr’ in top UK Beatles shows. 

Chris also thrived as a Company Manager for several UK productions, including the Everly Brothers tours and ‘The McCartney Songbook.’

The COVID-19 pandemic saw Chris enjoy a change of pace as a primary school PE teacher. Despite offers to return to drumming, none felt right until ‘Walk Right Back’ called him back. He eagerly anticipates rejoining the show that holds a special place in his heart.
